What We Do

  • 1) In-home Feeding Evaluation

In-home feeding evaluation is an in-depth appointment designed to assess the multiple factors interfering with a child’s feeding experience. The evaluation will assess the following as they relate to feeding issues: overall development, oral motor skill and sensory processing issues, parent-child interactions, behavioral concerns, mealtime structure and environment, and potential underlying medical issues. The appointment is 1.5-2 hours and includes parent interview, direct observation of feeding, trial of intervention strategies and recommendations for parents to implement. A comprehensive written evaluation is also included.

  • 2) Follow-Up Services

Follow-up appointments are available via telehealth or in-person. Follow up appointments include a review of progress, additional interventions and updates to recommendations to help further progress.

  • 3) Consultation with parents, other medical professionals, teachers

Consultations are available to provide parental education, strategies for supporting child’s eating at school/daycare environments and with other medical professionals who are also involved in the child’s care (pediatricians, medical specialists, developmental therapists).
